What does bakuchiol actually do?
It's a plant-derived alternative to retinol. it encourages the same smoothing, brightening effects on fine lines, without the redness or peeling retinol can cause. That makes it gentle enough for daily, twice-a-day use.
How long until I see results?
2–4 weeks: you'll start to see early hydration and brightening. 4–8 weeks: This is when bakuchiol (a retinol alternative) typically starts showing visible effects on fine lines and firmness. Bakuchiol works more gradually than synthetic retinoids since it doesn't trigger the same rapid cell turnover. 8–12 weeks: Most consistent visible improvement in fine lines, firmness, and reduction in the appearance of dark circles/puffiness
Is it safe around the eyes?
It's formulated for the delicate under-eye area. Apply a small amount and pat gently, avoiding direct contact with the eye itself.
